Basondo
Basondo is a refuge for endangered wildlife. Within its 60,000 square meters of meadows and forests, we are home to the main species of wild animals in our region: roe deer, wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, genet, badger, wildcat… as well as different types of birds of prey, owls, and migratory birds. You will also find other species that are now extinct in our territory, but which you can observe up close, such as the Iberian lynx, the wolf, and the bison. If you want to fully enjoy Basondo, it's best to bring a wildlife guide, your camera, and even a small pair of binoculars.
